# Bridgehampton Tennis & Surf Club Wedding

## A Beautiful Bridgehampton Tennis and Surf Club Wedding

This two-day Bridgehampton Tennis & Surf Club wedding in Bridgehampton, New York, was a beautiful Hamptons celebration overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Their weekend included a tented rehearsal dinner, getting ready and a first look at the club, a floral-filled beach ceremony, an elegant ballroom reception, and an unforgettable dance party and after-party—all at one of Long Island’s most distinctive waterfront wedding venues.

Photographed in a modern, effortless documentary style, the weekend was captured with a focus on real moments, natural interactions, and the feeling of the celebration as it unfolded. From candid photographs and relaxed portraits to aerial drone views of the beach and Hamptons coastline, the goal was to create wedding photography that feels refined while still allowing the newlyweds to experience their day naturally and look back on authentic memories for years to come.

# A Full Weekend Wedding at Bridgehampton Surf and Tennis Club

This two-day wedding at [Bridgehampton Tennis & Surf Club](https://www.thebtsc.com/) was everything we love about photographing celebrations in the Hamptons—relaxed, beautiful, personal, and completely connected to the setting. From a tented rehearsal dinner to a beachside ceremony overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and an unforgettable reception, the entire weekend took place at this iconic Bridgehampton wedding venue on Long Island.

## Rehearsal Dinner and Welcome Party

The celebration began with a tented rehearsal dinner at Bridgehampton Tennis & Surf Club, giving everyone a chance to settle into the weekend and spend time together before the wedding day. We approached the evening much like we photograph the wedding itself: allowing moments to unfold naturally while documenting the atmosphere, conversations, laughter, and smaller interactions that make a wedding weekend feel personal.

## Bridgehampton Tennis and Surf Club Wedding

On the wedding day, both the bride and groom got ready at the club, which allowed the entire celebration to have an effortless flow from beginning to end. Instead of spending the day moving between multiple locations, they were able to enjoy the property, the ocean, and the people who had traveled to Bridgehampton to celebrate with them.

#### A first look by the Cedar siding and hydrangeas

Before the ceremony, the couple shared their first look near the hydrangeas on the grounds of Bridgehampton Tennis & Surf Club. It was quiet, relaxed, and beautifully simple—the kind of moment that works best when it isn't overly directed. Our approach to wedding photography is documentary at its core, so even during portraits and a first look, the goal is never to make a couple feel like they are performing for the camera. We give just enough guidance when it is helpful and then leave room for real moments to happen.

## An Oceanside Beach Wedding on the Sand

Their ceremony took place directly on the sandy beach with the Atlantic Ocean stretching out behind them. Surrounded by abundant florals and their closest family and friends, they exchanged vows in one of the most beautiful settings for a Hamptons wedding. The combination of the ocean, natural light, florals, and movement of the beach made the ceremony feel elevated without losing the relaxed quality that made the entire weekend so special.

## Captured with Film, Digital, and Drone Photography

We also photographed the property and celebration from the air with drone photography, creating a completely different perspective of Bridgehampton Tennis & Surf Club, the beach, and the surrounding Hamptons coastline. These wider aerial photographs complement the more intimate documentary images and help tell the full story of where the wedding took place.

### A Timeless Palette of Soft Butter Yellows, Greens, and Whites

Following the ceremony, the celebration moved into the venue’s indoor ballroom. The reception design featured beautiful yellow, white, and green florals that brought a fresh, modern feeling to the space. As the evening progressed, the room transformed from an elegant dinner into an epic dance party, followed by an after-party that kept everyone celebrating late into the night—all without ever having to leave the venue.
For me, photographing a wedding like this is about much more than creating beautiful individual images. I want couples to remember what their wedding actually felt like.

## Documentary Wedding Photographer Specializing in Elegant and Authentic Images

My approach as a documentary Hamptons wedding photographer is intentionally natural and effortless. Couples often tell us how easy the photography experience feels because they are able to spend their wedding day with the people they love instead of constantly being pulled away for photographs. Rather than manufacturing moments, I pay attention to what is already happening—the expressions during a ceremony, conversations between friends, movement on the dance floor, parents watching from across the room, and all of the small interactions that might otherwise go unnoticed.

That approach creates photographs that are modern and visually refined while still feeling completely real. Years later, the goal is for couples to look through their wedding photographs and remember genuine moments rather than simply remembering being photographed.
For couples planning a wedding at Bridgehampton Tennis & Surf Club or elsewhere in Bridgehampton, Southampton, Montauk, or throughout the Hamptons, this kind of documentary wedding photography is especially well suited to celebrations that are designed around experience. Beautiful surroundings and thoughtful details matter, but the people and the moments happening within them are what ultimately make the photographs meaningful.
