I’ve gathered the most common ones here to help you learn more about my approach, what to expect throughout the process, and how I work on your wedding day. Hopefully you’ll find the answers you’re looking for, but if not, feel free to reach out anytime.A: I know you’ll be excited to relive your day, so I make it a priority to deliver previews quickly. For weddings, you’ll receive a generous sneak peek gallery within 3 days, with your full gallery delivered within 4–6 weeks. Elopements and proposals follow the same timeline. For engagement sessions and family sessions, you’ll receive your full gallery within 2 weeks.
A: I don’t place a limit on the number of images you receive. My goal is to tell the complete story of your wedding day, from the big moments to the little in-between memories. Most couples receive approximately 100–150 professionally edited images per hour of coverage. Every image is delivered in both color and black & white whenever it works well artistically, giving you the flexibility to enjoy each moment in whichever style you love most.
A: Absolutely! I photograph weddings across the United States and internationally. Whether you’re planning a local celebration, destination wedding, or intimate elopement, I’d love to hear about your plans and help capture your story wherever it takes place.
A. Yes. I’ll work closely with you to create a photography timeline that fits your day naturally. I’ll help determine how much time to allow for portraits, family photos, your first look (if you’re having one), and all the important moments, while making sure you still have plenty of time to enjoy your wedding.
A. Absolutely. While my style is primarily documentary and candid, I’ll gently guide you whenever needed so you never have to wonder what to do. My goal is to create natural photographs that feel like you—not stiff or overly posed.
A. Yes. Before your wedding, I’ll help you create a family photo list so we can photograph everyone efficiently while keeping things organized and stress-free.
A. Yes. Every image you receive is individually hand-edited for color, exposure, and overall consistency while staying true to the natural look and feel of your wedding day. I don’t deliver unedited RAW files.
A. Your photographs are delivered through a beautiful online gallery where you can view, download, share, and order professional-quality prints. Your gallery makes it easy to share your photos with family and friends, and there’s no expiration date, so you can access your images whenever you like for years to come.
A. Yes. You’ll receive full personal printing rights, so you’re free to print your images wherever you’d like. You can also order professional-quality prints and albums directly through your gallery.
A. Don’t worry—we’ll have a backup plan. Rain often creates some of the most romantic and memorable photographs. If needed, we’ll adjust the timeline, use covered locations, or embrace the weather with clear umbrellas and beautiful light.
A. Yes. We carry full business liability insurance, and I can provide a certificate of insurance (COI) to your venue if requested.
A. Booking is simple. Once you’re ready, I’ll send you a proposal with your contract and invoice. Your date is officially reserved once the signed contract and retainer are received.
A. Almost every couple tells me this! My approach is focused on genuine moments rather than stiff poses. I’ll gently guide you when needed while encouraging natural interaction, so your photographs feel authentic.
A. Of course. If there are important family groupings, meaningful details, or special moments you’d like captured, we’ll discuss them before the wedding. I also encourage you to trust me to document the unexpected moments that often become couples’ favorite photographs.
A. Some weddings benefit from having a second photographer, while others don’t. It really depends on your timeline, guest count, venue, and the moments you’d like captured. During our consultation, I’ll learn about your plans and honestly recommend whether I think a second photographer would add value or if one photographer will be more than enough. If your timeline or plans aren’t finalized yet, that’s no problem, you can always add a second photographer later as your wedding details come together.
A. I take every precaution to protect your wedding memories. I always bring backup cameras, lenses, flashes, batteries, and memory cards. Every camera I use records each photo simultaneously to two memory cards, so if one card were ever to fail, your images are safely stored on the other. After the wedding, I immediately back up your photos to two separate hard drives and keep the original memory cards until your final gallery has been delivered.
A. Yes! Drone photography is included whenever weather, venue policies, and FAA regulations allow. We’re FAA Part 107 Certified Remote Pilot, so you can be confident your drone images are captured safely and legally. Aerial photos provide a unique perspective and beautifully showcase your venue and surroundings.
A. Yes! Film photography is available as an optional add-on to any wedding. I love the timeless look and organic feel that film brings, and I carefully blend it with digital coverage to create a beautiful, nostalgic collection of images. If you’re interested, I’d be happy to tell you more and help decide if film is the right fit for your day.
A. Yes! Videography is available as an optional add-on. We offer two styles: traditional video coverage using professional camcorders and cinematic highlight films filmed with DSLR cameras for a more artistic, cinematic look. If you’re not sure yet, no problem—you can always add videography later as your plans come together.
